Court of Appeal result announced

  • There was a further victory for bank charge claimants today, when the Court of Appeal agreed with the High Court's decision that charges CAN be subject to 'unfair contractual terms' laws. The banks also asked to appeal against the decision and the Court of Appeal refused. The banks have since said they will try and appeal the decision directly to the House of Lords.
